Finding Dory: Movie Review

After 13 years, Disney Pixar finally decided to release the sequel to the popular movie, Finding Nemo.

This heart-warming, adorable movie will no doubt steal the hearts of many Disney fans.

But what I really like about the movie is the character developments (and also the addition of the three-hearted Septopus (voice by Ed O' Neill's) and other adorable little animals). It really enhanced the story line and of course who doesn't love cute little animals am I right? I think Hank the Octopus really stole the show!

I don't know why but I'm extremely in love with the sea lions.

And of course the star of the show- Baby Dory! I'm sure everybody found her cute!!

Y'know how usually the sequel ruins the first movie, well that doesn't really apply to Finding Dory. No actually I don't think that applies to any Disney movie #HardcoreDisneyFan. The storyline was flawless; every scene of the movie was relevant to the overall storyline and there were also bits and pieces connected to the first movie.

And of course, what brought this movie to life was its amazing graphics and animation.

If you haven't watched this movie, you have to. This animation is intriguing from the start till the end. It invokes happiness, sadness, and constant 'aww's.

Big Hero 6 Movie Review

"Ow!"

"Hi I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion."

From the directors of Wreck it Ralph, Rapunzel and Frozen, Disney Animation Studios presents the 6th sequel of Big Hero! Apparently, this film was inspired from Marvel Comics superhero team with the same name. Oh and I was just kidding about this film being the 6th sequel. There isn't a big hero 1-5 hehe

The film was set in San Fransokyo which I suppose is a combination of San Francisco and Tokyo.

Sypnosis:

A film about a nerdy genius 14 year old who wanted to devote his life to bot-fighting ending up in trying to enter his brother's nerd school, the Sans Fransokyo Institute of Technology lab after his brother brought him there. Amazed by how much he could learn and do there, he decided to get into the school.

Of course you can't just be accepted in a school without showing off your skills. Hiro has to blow away the institute's professors in the science-technology fair where other people show case their inventions. All went well until something happened.

Teaming up with 4 other nerds, Go-go, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred and Hiro's personal healthcare companion, they decided to take down the mysterious evil masked man.

Review: A film that was directed by the director of Disney Frozen will no doubt be amazing as well, especially when there are futuristic technologies in the film!

The movie is action-packed with its amazing graphics and tense background music that will make you so engrossed you'll be shifting to the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next.

It was also really hilarious whenever Baymax, the marshmallow robot, does something really stupid but cute.

I think everyone found it funny when they saw this in the trailer

"fa a la la la la~"

Not sure about you but this is definitely my favourite scene in the whole movie when Hiro teaches Baymax the fistbump.

Let's not forget the brilliant plot twists...

Spoiler #1 (highlight to view)

The masked villain is actually Professor Callaghan and not Alistair Krei

Spoiler #2 (highlight to view)

Baymax sacrificed himself to save Callaghan's daughter, Abigail and Hiro from a worm hole

Spoiler #3 (highlight to view)

Baymax left his chip with him was recreated by Hiro. Happy ending!

... and how some parts are so touching and sad it makes you want to hug yourself in a corner and cry. Don't be embarrassed if you did cause I thought it was pretty sad at some parts too.

ok so here's something interesting that will contain spoilers so read at your own risk ;)

(Spoiler Alert!)

(Are you sure you want to continue scrolling?)

(I warned you)

If you think about it Big Hero 6's storyline is pretty much the same as Marvel Avengers'. Both movies talk about different people teaming up to fight a strong evil villain that seems impossible to defeat. Like IronMan from The Avengers, Baymax almost died trying to save Hiro and Abigail ( he didn't really die since he gave his chip to Hiro ).

(spoiler above)

(for your own sake please do not look up)

But undeniably, Big Hero 6 is by far the best movie I've watched this year. Action packed, hilarious, heart-warming, Marvel and Disney at the same time so I strongly recommend it for those who have not watched it.

Thanks for reading~

Movie Review: Disney Frozen (2013)

Yay! Finally got to watch a movie! :D wait no, 2 movies! Frozen and Catching Fire :)

Bryan and I watched Frozen first. I thought it'll just be some ordinary cartoon but I was wrong. It's amazing, incredible, marvelous (I should stop using thesaurus now)

Yea I know even the poster is nice

It starts with Elsa and Anna playing together as child. Elsa has this really awesome power to create snow and turn things into ice. Everything was happy and all until she almost killed her sister Anna. Elsa knew that her powers will get stronger and she won't be able to control it, so she stopped talking to everyone except for her parents.

After her parents died of an accident, Elsa became queen but lost control of her powers in a party and left for the wild.

She made a really awesome ice castle! :D

I should probably introduce the main characters to you first

Anna set off to find Elsa while she left Arendelle to Hans, the guy that she knew for her day and... was engaged to. She met Kristoff and Olaf, the snowman that Anna and her sister made when they were young.

They finally found Elsa but Anna's heart was froze by Elsa by accident and only an act of true love will melt the ice.

Spoiler [Ending] (Highlight to view it)

They all thought Hans was Anna's true love but they were wrong. Hans refused to save Anna but luckily Hans came back for Anna.

Hans wanted to kill Elsa. Just as he swung the sword at her, Anna came out to block the sword and was turned into ice before the sword hit her.

Elsa hugged her and the ice melted. :D

And they lived happily ever after~

Oh and Demi Lovato fans should watch Frozen too cause 'Let it Go' will be in the movie :3
