Mr Peabody and Sherman: Movie Review

Yes! It's another cartoon movie!

Not only am I a fan of cartoon movies, I'm also quite interested in history and time travelling stuff.

I really like how a dog adopted a boy instead of another way round in the movie and I find it kinda cute how Sherman and Penny liked each other after hating each other so much. Fun fact: Dreamworks love creating their characters such that it challenges the society's stereotypes of them eg. Kung Fu Panda's Po.

The story started when Sherman tried to impress Penny by telling her about the time machine. But when that happened, they messed up some of the biggest and important events in history.

It's pretty cool how someone can time travel to any era and that they'll screw up something and have to run away. Like they had to run away from something in the eras they went to.

It was quite touching at the end when they tried to save the world.

There were many bad puns in the movie too. Haha like every 10-20 minutes Mr Peabody would say some puns that no one in the movie laughed to.

"well that was disarming"

Even though this movie isn't exciting and filled with suspense, it's really awesome cause who doesn't love history and time travel and bad puns?

Slappy Cakes- DoItYourself PANCAKES!!

It's been a long time since I've blogged about food so yea it means that this restaurant is really special, interesting and fantabulicious!

When my mom told me about it I thought it was just a really long table with bowls of toppings and all and we buy the pancakes and dump them all over it. I wasn't impressed about this restaurant till I was there.

It turns out we get to order the pancake, fry them ourselves and order the toppings too!

There were 5 different pancake mixes to choose from - Buttermilk, Whole Grain, Peanut Butter, Chocolate and Zucchini that costs $8 each.

We ordered Buttermilk, Chocolate (it's not living life to your fullest if you have never ate chocolate pancakes before) and peanut butter.

There were so many sweet sweet SWEET toppings to choose from. I was hyper before eating the toppings. I swear if I'm richer I'd have everything on the menu. Even... Sea Coconut whatever that tastes like.

After a long time, we finally made up our minds and ordered Hazelnut, Blueberries, Strawberries, Chocolate Chips, Chocolate Hazelnut spread and WHIPCREAM! (what's pancakes without whipcream?)

And if you're not enthusiastic about pancakes and was dragged into the restaurant like my dad, there's also delicious All Day Breakfast menu to choose from.

Even though I had dozens of pancakes I was still hungry and ordered the Country Fried Steak xD

And then there was the drink- Pink Lemonade that I took 5 minutes to choose

My first pancake... please mind my horrible art (I'm sorry blackbear)

My second one was way better :D

Forgive me chopper D:

My dad drew this haha

My sis drew this for me :)

And of course, for someone like me, I wouldn't not do something stupid in situations like this
TIC
TAC
TOE

I don't get how the pancake didn't get burnt after so long. In fact it tasted better when it's cookie-ish.

Before I left, I saw this 2 guys drawing 3D stuff like cubes and stuff so I decided to try it myself. The bike kinda sorta fail but hey, it's my first time trying.

This restaurant left me a really big impression. I mean how can you not love food and art at the same time?! I really like this concept of decorating your own pancake. It makes eating funner than it is and makes the not-so-delicious pancakes tastes better!

I had lots of fun that night and I can't wait to be back eventhough it's really far away. The next time I'm there I'm definitely gonna make lots of cool 3D pancakes!
