Mookoota Thailand Restaurant and School Camp

So my dad brought me to a nice Thai cuisine restaurant after my CCA camp. Its like steamboat and teppanyaki at the same time and it's freaking cool! :D

My dad and I ordered a set for 2 for $30+ which is quite cheap. There's pork, bacon, meatballs, fishballs, prawns, otah, fishcake and squid.
All of it is delicious! The pork isn't hard and chewy, the bacon is a little crunchy (just the way I like it), the otah is unlike the ones you eat in BBQs.

OK HERE'S THE PART ABOUT MY CAMP

I had 3 days 2 nights of camp. I have to admit it's fun and not as bad as I thought it would be. I actually hate camp. Maybe it's because of the bad experience I had in my p5 camp and sec1 orientation camp.

But this camp is different! Instead of crawling around the mud and swimming in dirty river water, we played team bonding games and had an Amazing Race which is not really that amazing, but it was still fun :)

Day 1

The first thing we did was to come up with a group name- No Pork No Lard.

We played some group bonding games before we played the egg game. With some newspaper, rope, plastic bag, masking tapes and straws, we have to construct a thingy to hold and protect the egg that we're gonna drop down from the 4th floor. All the group's egg didn't break and our group got Best Design :D

Day 2

It was time for the amazing race which is not amazing... at all. There were 4 themes to choose from- Culture and Water sources (300 points easy), technology (625 points hard) and the one that we chose, nature (500 points hard)

It sucked.

We spent an hour and a half guessing the location to complete the task. It was the Botanic Gardens. We had to take pictures with a Fagraea Fragans, 3 healing plants and an orchid.

The healing garden was closed D: so we were omitted from that task but we still had to find the orchid and the Fagraea Fragans.

The only reason why we couldn't find it is because we thought it was Fagarea... like Fag and Area.

We also found the orchid and finished all the task for this location.

This theme should be a few thousand points! D: it took us another half and hour to get out of the place and we were only left with 3 and a half hours.

Now it's time for the next location: Mount Faber Park.

There was only one task: find the mini merlion. I thought it was gonna be easy and that it hit me. It's all the way at the peak of the mountain. My first thought was "NOOOOOOO!"

It was a tiring walk and we went to the wrong way a few times. We finally found the merlion at about 4:30. Which means we were too late to finish our final task at Punggol park :(  but we still had fun though

Along the way to Botanic Gardens and Punggol park, we did bonus bonuses!
It was really fun and stupid. Like 'Hi-5 15 strangers'

We went to Vivo City to count the number of elevators and escalators.

So... we lost the amazing race. We were last. But it doesn't matter cause we had fun!

We had a night walk. Well not all of us because it was not allowed in school and we were busted by the teachers. The infocomm alumni told us 'real' stories about what happened in the night walk. Like machine guns sounds out of the blue, a dead old man in the chemistry lab and a floating hand at the stairs.

It was all very very convincing especially when we realized our school was built above the place where the Japanese killed the Singaporeans during the japanese occupation. I was scared at first but the fear faded after awhile.

We sat at the soccer field and stared at the starry sky while we wait for our turn. The stars were beautiful. I didn't know that we could see so many stars in Singapore!

Finally it was my turn after an hour. I was happy and all as I walked to my first station and then I was called back by the alumni. D: so sad

Day 3

We played water balloon blind mice. The alumni threw water balloons from the skybridge and after an hour mostly everyone was wet except for Bryan, Kenton, a few people and me. The alumni saw us and shouted "THESE PEOPLE ARE DRY" and I know I'm gonna get wet real badly.

All in all the camp was  fun. The best camp  I've had :D

Can't wait for the next cca camp next year!
